A Sweet Angel Ornament From A Toilet Paper Roll DIY

Spread the love

This DIY angel ornament from a toilet paper roll is so adorable and fun.  What a great ornament project for your kids or grandkids to make for the Christmas tree.  The best thing is that you don’t have to buy any supplies because you probably have everything you need in your craft cabinet.  Thanks to Adirondack Girl @ Heart for the cute idea.

Hi everyone! I hope you enjoyed your week-end. I had the chance to do some estate saling on both Friday and Saturday, but worked on several projects, too. I was busy, busy, busy. Friday night my sweet family and I went out to eat together, which doesn’t happen as often as I’d like because of the teenager’s schedules. Today I have my first Christmas ornament of the season to share with you: an upcycled toilet paper tube angel.

I always love the challenge of taking something ordinary, something that you’d normally just throw away, and turning it into something fresh and new. I think my darling angel falls into that category. Would you like to know how I made her? Here’s what you’ll need to get started: two toilet paper tubes, scissors, some creamy white craft paint, a small wooden sphere, lace, hot glue, white glue or Modge Podge, gold cord, and glitter.
