All Natural Bug Spray Recipe

Spread the love

Recipe for making your own natural bug spray:

For 4 oz bottle:

  • 2 ounces distilled or boiled water
  • 1-2 ounces witch hazel
  • About 50 drops total of your preferred combination of essential oils

Put into a 4 oz glass or plastic bottle with a spray atomizer top. You want the spray to come out in a fine mist. Shake well and apply frequently. You’ll find that it is a light formula with a pleasant scent that doesn’t feel greasy on your skin like commercial bug sprays do.

If you don’t want to buy a lot of different essential oils, buy just lemon eucalyptus essential oil and use it alone in water and witch hazel. Studies have proven that it works, even alone.
