Delicious Cheesy Sausage Wontons DIY

Spread the love

What makes this DIY cheesy sausage wonton recipe so great is that you can serve it as dinner for your family or appetizers for a party.  This is an Italian twist on an Asian treat.  Not a wonton fan?  Try using phyllo dough.  Or use a different kind of cheese.  Thanks to Petticoat Junktion for the idea.

I know. I’m not a food blogger. But…I do an awful lot of cooking during the holidays and I teamed up with some of my blogging friends to share our favorite party recipes.

You might want to whip up one or two of the recipes for New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day. The JTS and I aren’t big partiers but we do like to eat! The Cheesy Sausage Wontons are one of our favorite appetizers. I make the wontons a few times a year for special occasions. Our granddaughter Tenley sometimes puts in a special request for them too.
