Easy to Make Outdoor Swings

Here’s another easy to make swing. It’s the same idea as the swing on the last page but it uses chains to secure and hang it.

This is an interesting swing and it looks really comfortable. Just take an old wooden chair, cut the legs off and paint (or not!).

Old skateboards are easy to come by and the deck makes a great swing.

This uses a pallet that is cut in half down the middle and one board on each end removed. You could add pillows or a cushion for comfort, but it looks really cool just as it is.

Old tires have always made great swings and what makes these fun is the whimsical paint. Kids will always enjoy swinging on a tire.
