[Video] Ingenious Way to Put Old Wine Bottles to Good Use

If you have any wine bottles that you haven’t gotten around to throwing away yet, maybe because you were trying to think of something cool to do with them, or maybe you just haven’t cleaned up yet, then here’s an ingenious idea of something to use them for. Not only is it cute but it’s also quite useful. Make a hanging herb garden and put it close to your kitchen, or small flowering plants will brighten up any room.

Here’s a tutorial video of the project where Ben Uyeda from Homemade Modern shows how he takes empty wine bottles and makes a hanging herb garden. He uses copper tubing for the water to drain from the plant. Copper has become quite expensive so you may prefer to use regular metal tubing instead. The copper definitely makes it look more “artsy”.
