Make a Lavender Wreath

Spread the love

Gather a bunch of dried lavender and snip the ends with the scissors to get a nice neat edge.  Secure the bunch to the form by winding the twine around it a few times and tying a knot.

Leaving the twine on the roll, wind each new bunch to the form as they are added.  Continue adding bunches until you complete the circle.  Tuck a final bunch under the first bunch, and secure with twine and tie off.

Go over to Garden Therapy to see their photos of each step of the project.

Garden Therapy had one final tip – gather all the dried flowers that fall off when you’re making your wreath and keep them to use for other projects.

Here’s another look at how to make a lavender wreath, this one with fresh lavender. They are gorgeous when done this way because the color is so vibrant. As the flowers dry, the color fades some but the aroma doesn’t.
