Glowing jars are such fun but they shouldn’t be limited to just Halloween. They are fantastic to make anytime. Use them in the summertime to light up the yard. I’ve seen pictures of plastic bottles lit this way and used as bowling pins for a game of lawn bowling outside at night. Kids love them, adults enjoy them, they are fun for the whole family.
Here are several variations of ways to make jars glow, with slightly different ways of making them for different effects.
Fill jars with whatever greenery you’d like, then break open a highlighter and put the contents into a jar. When lit with a backlight they glow. See complete instructions on Pinterest.
