Marvelous Meringue Cookies With Chocolate and Toffee DIY
Unique cookie recipe #3. I have to admit meringue cookies are not high up on my list but add some chocolate and toffee I might be swayed. This DIY recipe has a small list of ingredients which means it’s easy and inexpensive. Thanks to Megan Palmer and Cooking Channel for opening my mind to meringue.
ingredients
- 3 large egg whites, at room temperature
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- Pinch kosher salt
- 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1 teaspoon bourbon vanilla extract (or pure vanilla extract)
- 3 chocolate-covered toffee candy bars, finely chopped (about 4 ounces)
