Entertaining outdoors is always fun and having a fire pit can make it even better. When I think of times I visit friends and we sit around a fire, it’s such a great time to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The fire definitely adds to the enjoyment.
Now you can have your own permanent fire pit in your yard without spending a lot of money. It will take a some time and quite a bit of labor, but it can be done in a weekend and the end result is well worth it.
Something you should know about concrete, is that when it’s directly exposed to very high heat, any moisture that is trapped inside could expand, causing the concrete to possibly crack or explode. That’s why the instructions for this fire pit include lining it with fire brick and lava rock. Be sure to read all instructions carefully before starting to build your own.
Here’s a video that shows how to do it.
