DIY Gorgeous Rose Buttercream Crepe Cake

I know what I want for my birthday breakfast next month.  Forget the store bought crepes and make your own.  The recipe is as easy as pancakes.  1 1/2 cups flour, 1 1/2 cups milk, 3 eggs, 1 1/2 tablespoons melted butter and mix well.  Pour a light layer of the mixture in a skillet over medium heat.  Flip the crepe when the egdes start to firm up.  This will make 6 yummy crepes.  Thanks Style at Home for making my birthday better.

Ingredients

  • 10 to 15 organic or unsprayed rose petals
  • 6 egg whites + 3 tbsp for sugared rose petals
  • 1-1/3 cups granulated sugar, divided
  • 20 store-bought 10″ round crepes
  • 1-1/2 cups unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 tbsp rosewater
  • 1-1/3 cups raspberry jam
  • 2 tsp icing sugar
