A Lovely DIY Stenciled Lace Table Runner

Spread the love

This DIY stenciled lace table runner has so many possibilities.  A design can be made for any occasion any time of year.  Stencil gold poinsettias on black material for Christmas or multicolored confetti for New Years.  It’s a quick and easy project that will beautiful your table.  Thanks to Tried & True for the great idea.

Is everyone ready for Thanksgiving next week? Yeah, me neither. No worries there’s still plenty of time to customize your special meal with a few easy handmade projects like this Stenciled Lace Table Runner! I don’t have a lot of free time (Crazy busy time of year for bloggers!) so personal projects like this one have to be super easy and quick. Since I finished this runner in under 30 minutes, I even had time to unwind over a cup of Traditional Medicinals tea while catching up on the latest Martha Stewart Living. Just what this frazzled blogger needed!

Lovely Lace

All you need to make the Stenciled Lace Table Runner is a plain runner, lace stencil, metallic paint, and spouncers (specific sponges made for stenciling.) I’ve found that a few dabs from a glue stick on the back of the stencil can help prevent shifting during application.
