An Adorable Faux Gumball/Candy Machine DIY

Spread the love

This candy dish design that resembles a gumball or candy machine is adorable and DIY.  It’s an easy and inexpensive project to do.  Make a larger one to use as a mailbox on Valentine’s Day.  If you can’t find the color base you like go ahead and spray paint it.  You can also paint candy or gumballs onto the base.  Thanks to Barn Tree Place for the idea.

Materials:

Ceramic Flower Pot

Glass Vase

Lid

Epoxy(clear dry)

CANDY!!

What a fun project and the kids loved helping!

We went to the Dollar Store to find all the materials.

Making a “group” decision, we all agreed on the black ceramic pot.

Then we headed over to the glass vase sections and found the shape we were looking for.

Now, it’s all about the lid! Who can find it first? Off the kids went!

This is what they returned with. A doggy treat plastic storage container.

Perfect!!
