DIY Beautiful West Elm Shelf Night Stand

Spread the love

It’s a night stand and shelf all built into one.  This DIY West Elm knock off project is great for smaller rooms because it saves floor space.  It’s also a fresh and clean look.  Paint it, leave it natural, or use scrapbook paper and Modge Podge.  Thanks to Making Home Base for the idea.

Since moving into our new home, my daughter’s room has lacked a bedside table or a nightstand. I wanted something small that we could rest books on or somewhere to set her evening glass of water. The space isn’t huge and she likes to play up here so I really needed something small. When I came across the West Elm Reclaimed Pine Box Shelf, I thought it would be the perfect alternative to a typical nightstand. The bonus happened to be that I could easily DIY a version of my own for a fraction of the price.
