This DIY mini sausage and cheese frittatas are yummy. I made this last night with a couple changes. Yes, I’m one of those people reviewing a recipe that I changed but I have a good reason! I used sage flavored sausage because that’s what I had and left out the thyme and oregano. I also used lactose-free milk due to being lactose intolerant. I did add cheese but left two frittatas without for me. Everyone was happy with this arrangement. Thanks to All Recipes for the recipe I kinda followed. 🙂
For a fun change-of-pace breakfast, Kathy Brodin of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin suggests these sausage and hash brown frittatas perked up with salsa. ‘To lower the cholesterol even more, use egg substitute for the whole eggs,’ she notes.
