A DIY Great Clothes Pin Rack For Gloves, Scarves, Hats and more

Spread the love

This is such a smart idea for summer or winter.  Right now I’m thinking of how great this DIY clothes pin rack would be in my laundry room for drying out winter apparel.  I would actually prefer the rack mounted onto the wall for more stability.  This would also be a fun way to show off a cap collection.  Thanks to Sadie Seasongoods for the idea.

I will be the first to admit that this project is pretty darn simple. But it evolved from a very real need- actually, a *few* very real needs. First, I was in my crafting room and emerged determined to use up some of my supplies…and second, I have a TERRIBLE habit of ripping off my gardening gloves in the garage, tossing them about, and then having a devil of a time finding them again.

So here we are- with a simple, but hopefully very useful project using salvaged wood, vintage clothespins, and some picture hanging wire.

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you may remember my fruitful trip to Nashville, Tennessee. While I was there, I scored a huge old jar of weathered clothespins.  And I have really yet to use them in any projects thus far!
