Delicious Cajun Sausage Puffs with Bourbon Mustard DIY

Andouille sausage wrapped in a buttery puffed pastry sounds so delicious.  It’s DIY pigs in a blanket for adults!  Serve it with the spicy bourbon mustard sauce on the side for dipping.  If you aren’t a mustard fan try it with BBQ sauce.  Chicken sausages would be tasty as well.  Thanks to Delish for the delicious recipe.

  • 1 package all-butter puff pastry
  • flour
  • 8 hot-dog-size, fully-cooked smoked andouille chicken sausages
  • 1 large egg
Bourbon Mustard:
  • 2 tbsp. bourbon
  • ⅓ c. Creole or grainy Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp. honey
